I entered the financial planning profession with a conviction to help people understand the importance of planning for the future. I am privileged to have enjoyed a career that allows me to work with clients – some for 20 or 30 years! – in a way that favorably impacts them as well as their children, grandchildren, and community at large. Watching them achieve their financial goals is unquestionably the aspect of my career that brings me the most joy.
Service is the guiding principle that has shaped my career, and the desire to serve others is common among my clients as well. Prior to financial planning, I worked in the nonprofit sector and teaching, so I believe in discussing the role that environmental or social impact could have in your portfolio. Research shows that, in the long run, companies that do the right thing for their employees and their communities tend to be more profitable. I want to make sure my clients benefit from this opportunity – to achieve financial peace of mind while also aligning their money with their values.
I have been named a Five Star Wealth Advisor* every year since 2020. Although I’m not in this business to win awards, I do appreciate being recognized for my commitment to ongoing education and for my success at client retention.
I enjoy hiking, dancing, reading, and volunteering in my community. Most of all I love spending time with my family. I have recently married a wonderful man with seven lovely grandchildren. We spend time cooking and traveling together with my daughter whenever we can.
